Third Thursday Taize

Come and “Unplug”  - at this service of quiet, reflection, calm music and prayer.

Taize is a style of worship that began in Southern France by a community of Roman Catholic brothers. It is now a worship movement that has spread through out the world.

Taize Worship is simple and filled with silence, reflections on Scripture and simple songs of prayer sung over and over. It is based on the belief that God speaks and the heart hears if we give it space.

So come and Unplug (unplug your TV, radio, computer, internet, cell phone, Bluetooth, cable, satellite) - for 45 minutes of prayer, quiet and listening ot God.

Now, more that ever, in a world filled with ways to communicate, we are hearing less and less. Perhaps because the noise has filled us. Give yourself the gift of a few minutes a month  at 7:00 p.m.) to quite your heart and give yourself the silence and space to hear God’s voice.

First Taize Service will be on October 16th  at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
